What is the Basecamp Experience?

The Basecamp Experience is a private, fully guided mobile e-bike adventure designed for groups, events, and celebrations. We bring the bikes, Basecamp trailer, gear, snacks, and local expertise directly to your group for a seamless Vermont riding experience.

Do we need prior mountain biking or e-bike experience?

Not at all. These rides are designed to be approachable, social, and customizable for mixed experience levels. Electric bikes help smooth out the climbs and make the experience more enjoyable for a wide range of riders.

What bikes do you provide?

We provide a premium fleet of Specialized Turbo Levo electric mountain bikes, professionally maintained and set up for your group before each ride.

How many guests can join?

Each Basecamp Experience includes up to 5 riders.

Can stronger riders and beginners ride together?

Yes. That’s one of the biggest advantages of e-bikes. Riders of different fitness and experience levels can comfortably ride together and enjoy the day at a similar pace.

Where can the Basecamp Experience take place?

Experiences can be hosted throughout many areas of Vermont depending on logistics, trail access, and your group’s goals. We’ll help determine the best ride location based on where your group is staying or gathering. (Burlington, Stowe, Sugarbush, Middlebury, and the surrounding areas)

What’s included with the experience?

Your experience includes premium e-bikes, helmets, guide support, route planning, Basecamp setup, snacks, hydration support, and post-ride beverages.

Do you provide helmets and gear?

Yes. Helmets are included, and guests may also have access to select Julbo eyewear and accessories depending on availability.

What kind of terrain do you ride?

Routes can include gravel roads, dirt roads, mellow trails, scenic climbs, rolling countryside, brewery stops, swimming holes, and mountain views. Every route is customized around the group.

What happens if it rains?

Safety and guest experience always come first. In the event of severe weather, we’ll work with your group to adjust timing, modify the route, or reschedule whenever possible.

Can we customize the experience?

Absolutely. Every Basecamp Experience is customized around your group’s pace, interests, fitness level, location, and overall vibe for the day.

Trail snacks, hydration support, and post-ride beverages are included. Depending on the route, we can also help coordinate optional brewery, café, or lunch stops.

Can you accommodate corporate groups or special events?

Yes. Basecamp Experiences are designed specifically for private groups, retreats, celebrations, and hosted events looking for a unique Vermont experience.
