Welcome to Ramble & Roam Adventures (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking a trip, using this website, or engaging with any of our services, you (“you,” “your,” or “guest”) agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Booking & Payment
- Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment. The remaining balance is due no later than 45 days before your trip start date.
- Payments can be made securely through our website or via the invoice we provide.
2. Cancellation Policy
Because our experiences are intimate and space is limited, our cancellation policy is strict:
- Guest cancellations:
- 45+ days before trip: 50% payment is forfeited, but remaining balance (if paid) will be refunded.
- Fewer than 45 days: No refunds will be issued.
- Ramble & Roam cancellations:
- In the unlikely event that we must cancel (e.g., severe weather, illness, or unforeseen circumstances), guests may choose a full refund or apply their payment to a future trip within 12 months.
We highly recommend purchasing trip insurance to protect your investment.
3. Trip Modifications
We reserve the right to alter routes, accommodations, or daily itineraries due to weather, trail conditions, lodging availability, or safety considerations. These adjustments will always be made with your experience and safety in mind.
4. Fitness & Assumption of Risk
By booking a trip, you acknowledge that:
- You are physically fit and able to complete the planned rides and activities.
- You understand that gravel cycling and outdoor adventure carry inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, or equipment failure.
- You voluntarily assume all such risks and agree not to hold Ramble & Roam Adventures, its owner, or guides liable for any injuries or losses that occur during your trip.
5. Guest Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Follow the safety instructions provided by your guide(s).
- Wear a helmet at all times while riding.
- Be respectful to fellow guests, guides, locals, and the environment.
- Arrive with your gear in good working condition (unless renting through us).
Ramble & Roam Adventures reserves the right to remove any guest from a trip without refund if their behavior endangers others or disrupts the experience.
6. Media Release
We often capture photos and videos during trips to share the spirit of adventure. By participating, you grant Ramble & Roam Adventures permission to use your image for promotional purposes, unless you specifically request otherwise in writing before your trip.
7. Personal Information
We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected during booking is used solely for trip logistics and communication. We will never sell your data.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ramble & Roam Adventures shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in any trip or use of this website.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont. Any disputes shall be resolved in Vermont courts.
