Participation Waiver & Release of Liability

By registering for or participating in a guided cycling experience with R.R. Adventures LLC d/b/a Ramble & Roam Adventures (“Ramble & Roam”), I acknowledge and agree to the following:
[ ] Statement of Understanding
I understand that while Ramble & Roam takes reasonable efforts to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, outdoor cycling inherently involves risks. These include, but are not limited to:
- Physical exertion and strain
- Falls, collisions, or accidents
- Equipment failure or road/trail conditions
- Weather and environmental hazards
- Motor vehicle traffic and wildlife encounters
- Remote locations where emergency response may be delayed
- The potential presence of communicable diseases (e.g., COVID-19, influenza, MRSA)
I acknowledge that participation may result in injury, illness, disability, death, or property damage, and that Ramble & Roam cannot guarantee my safety.
[ ] Assumption of Risk
I freely and knowingly assume all risks associated with participating in a Ramble & Roam experience (half-day, full-day, overnight, or multi-day tour), whether known or unknown, even if arising from the negligence of Ramble & Roam staff, vendors, or associated entities. I accept full responsibility for any injuries or losses incurred as a result of my participation.
[ ] Release of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate, I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless R.R. Adventures LLC, its owners, officers, guides, contractors, partners, volunteers, agents, property owners, and affiliates from any and all claims related to injury, illness, disability, death, or property damage that may arise during or after the trip to the fullest extent permitted by law, including claims that arise from their own negligence.
[ ] Responsibility for Conduct & Equipment
I agree to act responsibly and respectfully while participating. I understand I may be removed from the program at Ramble & Roam’s discretion if my behavior jeopardizes the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of others. I acknowledge that I am responsible for the safe use of my own bicycle and equipment unless otherwise provided.
[ ] Medical & Physical Readiness
I certify that I am physically able to participate in the type of trip I have registered for. I understand it is my responsibility to consult a physician before engaging in strenuous activity. I also consent to emergency medical care if deemed necessary.
[ ] Photo & Media Release
I grant permission to Ramble & Roam to use any photographs, video, or audio recordings taken during the trip for promotional purposes, unless I submit a request in writing to opt out prior to the trip start date.
[ ] Program Changes & Cancellations
I understand that trip itineraries may be modified, shortened, or cancelled due to weather, road conditions, safety concerns, group ability, or other unforeseen factors. Ramble & Roam reserves the right to make these changes at its discretion and is not responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result.
[ ] Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Vermont. Any legal dispute shall be resolved in a state or federal court located in Vermont.
